I bought a designer piece on sale for $50, will that cost me more than that to alter it?
Our service fee always depends on the amount of work and time spent on each garment, regardless the price that been paid for it initially. So yes, it is pretty common for a client to spend $250 (or more) to alter a $50 dress.
I Have a very expensive suit and afraid it will get damaged during the alterations, can you guarantee it won't happen?
Although we are always extra cautious, accidents can always happen. If something unfortunate happens, we’d be happy to fully reimburse for the garment.
Could you come to my house or office for alterations? Offer tailoring services at a remote location?
Since we have everything we need at our studio — we prefer to work in house, however we offer the service outside too with an additional hour rate.
I have a dress that needs simple alterations like shortening straps and hemming it — how much do you charge?
We can’t tell for sure until we physically see the dress and determine the amount of work involved. Every dress is unique — depending on the fabric, the way it fits, the finishing details and more.
